By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

Required Materials
Introduction (5 Mins)
Warm-up: Ask the students: "Who is a leader?". Briefly discuss the "Getting Started" diagram from the textbook.
Main Activity: Reading & Exploration (20 Mins)
Step 1: Pre-Reading
Show the title "Great Caliphs of Islam" and ask students to name the four Rashidun Caliphs.
Step 2: Interactive Reading
The teacher will model-read the text with correct intonation, paying special attention to honorifics:
Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ): Known as the first man to embrace Islam and the first Caliph.
Hazrat Umar (رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ): Known as Al-Farooq (the one who distinguishes between right and wrong).
Hazrat Usman (رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ): Known as Zun-Noorain (Holder of two lights).
Hazrat Ali (رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ): Known as Asadullah (The Lion of Allah).
